Sophia’s directorial debut was a documentary series for the JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT: KING PLEASURE exhibition in New York and Los Angeles. Also associated with the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Sophia has directed work for the BARBICAN in London and Fondation LOUIS VUITTON in Paris.

Sophia produced Mad Realities’ PROOF OF LOVE, a wacky interactive Web3 dating show, which made waves in the New York tech-entertainment space.

Production has taken Sophia from her native New York City to South Africa, France, China, Ethiopia, Canada.

Films have starred talent like ETHAN HERISSE (When They See Us), DAVID ZAYAS (Dexter), KAREEM RAHMA (Keep the Meter Running), and ELSIE HEWITT (Teenage Badass).

Premieres have included NBC's PEACOCK, the TRIBECA Film Festival, CANNES Short Film Corner, BERLIN Music Video Awards, and dozens of other prestigious film festivals.

In 2019, she worked briefly at MIRAMAX’s Production & Development Department alongside industry executives on features like Guy Ritchie’s THE GENTLEMAN.
